Down Payment Assistance

With the help of Florida Hometown Heroes Down Payment Assistance program, eligible first-time home buyers are able to receive up to 5% of the total loan amount between $10,000 and $35,000 towards down payment and closing cost. These funds are in the form of a 0%, non-amortizing, 30-year deferred second mortgage.

Assistance is available to full time first time home buyers that work within the following occupations: healthcare, education, first responders, public safety workers, court workers, childcare works, service members (active, reserve members including FL National Guard) and veterans.
